On December 16, 1997, the Adda Clevenger
School Chorus boarded the plane to Washington DC. to sing at the White House. I
am a member of the Adda Clevenger School Chorus. I arrived at our local airport at 6:00 a.m. When we got off the plane, Swiss camera people were filming
us. They were working on a documentary about my choir director, Urs Steiner.
Those camera people followed him everywhere they could. Our first day in
Washington we were free to do what we wanted to do. I relaxed in my room and
looked around at some of the shops in the hotel.
