When I was asleep
I heard a sound
I ran to the kitchen
And saw a hound
A hound that was barking
A hound that was mad
A hound that was chasing
A big fat cat
He ran to the bedroom
And jumped on my bed
I started to yell
And he fell down flat
He jumped on the broom
The broom fell down
And the dog had a big fat frown
He jumped out the window
And never came back
But only on Christmas
He had a small snack!
