Create Your Own Virtual Fish

Ever lost a favorite pet fish? Well, the only way to let go of these brilliantly colored, animated 3-D fish is by sending them from your home computer to the Boston Museum of Science's virtual fish tank where visitors could feed them for you.

Nearlife Inc. and the Museum of Science in Boston have teamed up to create a new website, VirtualFishTank, where you can go to create your own virtual fish, assign them real-life behaviors and physical characteristics and personally tag them. Then you can send your fish into the cyberstream where they end up swimming with more fish creatd by others in a huge virtual fish tank complete with sharks, treasure chests, magic castles and even a scuba diver!
