Once Upon a Dinosaur
reviewed by the Coalition for Quality Children's Media
Three tales of "once upon a time" to add to any
child's collection of fairy tales, "How Dinosaurs Learned to Fly," "The
Emperor's New Clothes," and "The Long Enchantment." Adult Juror
Comments: Each story offers a unique style and presentation. They're
well produced with bright animation, intricate sets and costumes. The
narrator is at times difficult to understand and the morals are too
advanced for the audience. Kid Juror Comments: Children watched
intently. They did have some problems understanding all the concepts,
"I didn't understand it until my Mommy explained it to me." "My
daughter watched it three times." All of the programs evoked discussion
from the children after.
