THE HISTORY OF BACKGAMMON
Backgammon is an ancient dice game which spread to the United States in the 17th century, but it was created thousands of years before that. The beginning of the game is uncertain, but a 5,000 year old backgammon board was found at the site of an ancient Sumerian town.
