MOBILES THAT FLY!

THINGS YOU'LL NEED: Two wire hangers 2 twist ties from plastic bags string or yarn 12 themed pictures - cut out (you can also use light 3-dimensional items, like paper blocks (see instructions for making paper blocks in the "Things You Can Make For Kids" section of this Website) or small dolls - tie the strings around their waists, under their arms.)

INSTRUCTIONS: Put the two hangers at 90 degree angles from each other Twist tie together the hooks Twist tie together the center of the bottom Cut 4 pieces of string 14" long Cut 4 pieces of string 12" long Cut 4 pieces of sprite 10" long Tie the strings to the bottom of the mobile hanger (6 on each hanger) - Make sure you keep them even or the mobile will hang crooked. Punch a hole in the top of your pictures (Note, if you use the 3-dimensional paper blocks, you can either tape your string to a corner, or you can tie a knot in the end of the string and insert it through a seam in the block. If you want extra strength in that bond, you can attach a small safety pin to the knot and stick the safety pin inside the block before resealing it.) Tie your pictures to the other end of the string which is attached to the hanger
