TREASURE CHEST

 

Things you'll need:

• Shoebox
• Tissue paper
• Paint or construction paper to decorate your box
• Tape, Glue, Scissors

Ideas for items to fill the treasure chest

• Person's favorite candy
• Small notebook (maybe handmade with their name on it!)
• Pencils
• Funny pictures
• Little toys
• Use your imagination. Include little things the person likes!

 

SUGGESTIONS FOR BOXES:

	You can paint and decorate your shoebox like a pirate's chest... Tape the hinge side so the lid opens like a chest.
	Or like a doll house... You can even glue a chimney to the roof of the box.	WHERE'S SANTA?
	Or a car!

Line the box with tissue paper, place your gift items in the box. You can either wrap the little presents separately or place them in the box unwrapped.

Put a bow on the outside of your box for decoration (and to keep it shut!)
